Paul Inglis is a senior managing director in the FTI Corporate Finance practice and is based in London. Mr. Inglis has 16 years of restructuring experience in both the public and private sectors, advising creditors and investors. Mr. Inglis has been involved in a number of highly complex financial restructuring assignments across a broad range of industries and geographies.
Experience
Mr. Inglis’ experience includes strategic; operational and financial assessments; crisis management and stabilization; assessment of management teams; financial restructuring and refinancing; multi-tiered stakeholder management and complex stakeholder options analysis.
Examples of Mr. Inglis’ advisory experience have included advising two U.K. banks on refinancing their exposure to a privately held infrastructure company with active projects in more than 25 countries across the world and net debt levels in the region of £200 million; a Swedish financial institution on its c£150 million exposure to a privately held CIS mobile telephone start up business and an incumbent bilateral bank on the restructuring of its publicly quoted music business with operations in the U.K. and U.S. and debt levels of c£170 million. In addition, he was involved with senior lenders in relation to their £150 million exposure to a disparate privately held furniture manufacturing group with sales of c£350 million and multi-tranched debt holders, senior, junior, notes and local country bilaterals, who were owed c€1.2 billion on a highly complex restructuring and refinancing.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Inglis was a restructuring partner at Ernst and Young. Before that, he worked at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Inglis holds a B.A. with honors in accounting and financial management from the University of Sheffield. He is a chartered accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
