Paul Ficca is a senior managing director in FTI Consulting Forensic and Litigation Consulting practice based in Seattle and is the leader of the FTI Consulting International Construction Solutions group. Mr. Ficca has over 23 years of experience in litigation support, forensic accounting, cost investigations and analysis, damages calculations, and risk-based advisory services in the construction industry. He has provided project management, financial and accounting advisory services, construction industry consulting, real estate advisory work and litigation support services to both public and private clients. He has served as an expert witness on litigation and commercial dispute matters related to damages assessments.
Experience
Mr. Ficca has experience with complex, data intensive analysis projects. He has worked on projects involving extensive computer extraction and modeling work to quantify potential damages in disputes involving multiple parties. He has analyzed lost profits, discounted cash flow, direct damages, consequential damages and interest calculations on a variety of claims and litigation matters.
Mr. Ficca’s experience includes engagements related to insurance claims, healthcare, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property disputes, business plan analysis, electric and gas utilities, the oil and gas industry, environmental matters, real estate and construction, major capital project audits, a high technology corporate campus, a national retail company, a university, city audit assistance, a children’s hospital, a high technology semiconductor chip manufacturing plant, a global telecommunications company, a water resources authority, a state department of transportation, an international airport, a steel mill construction claim, prison construction, shipbuilding and sound transit.
Mr. Ficca has a B.A. in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Washington. He is a certified public accountant and a certified management accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Institute of Management Accountants.
