Randall Eisenberg is a senior managing director in the FTI Consulting Corporate Finance/Restructuring practice and is based in New York. Mr. Eisenberg is one of the firm’s leaders in revitalizing underperforming companies. He has extensive experience advising senior management, boards of directors and equity sponsors in the transformation of stagnant or underperforming companies. Mr. Eisenberg has led many large, high-profile national and international assignments. His experience includes a broad range of services emphasizing implementation of sound business practices that focus on rebuilding shareholder and stakeholder value.
Experience
Mr. Eisenberg’s experience includes most aspects of development and implementation of turnaround plans in an out-of-court setting or through Chapter 11 and certain other international court-supervised insolvency processes. His diverse background extends into numerous industries where he has served as an advisor to companies, served in interim management positions, advised secured lenders and unsecured creditors and represented companies and equity funds in the acquisition of distressed businesses.

Mr. Eisenberg is a frequent lecturer, is regularly interviewed by newspapers and has appeared on radio and television discussing transformations and turnarounds. He has also written numerous articles on various aspects of successful turnarounds.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Eisenberg was a partner with the U.S. division of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Business Recovery Services practice.
Mr. Eisenberg holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University and a B.A. from the University of the Pacific.
Mr. Eisenberg’s association involvement includes chairman in 2003 and director from 1995–2007 of Turnaround Management Association, president from 2006-2007 and director from 2005-2007 of Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals. He is a fellow of both the American College of Bankruptcy and the International Insolvency Institute, and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Eisenberg also serves as a trustee of Save the Children.
